helly asked: We are supposed to be going camping on Saturday to mid Wales for a week. It’s booked (no money paid) on a lovely campsite which looks fabulous. We are a family of 4 – 2 young children, one autistic.
Unfortunately the weather is not forecast to be good – rain most days that week. Rain and camping don’t mix!
We have seen a holiday park with more indoor type activities staying in a static caravan (very large). It would be considerably more expensive than the camping holiday, but if the rain does come, we would be more comfortable, and we would have plenty to do in wet weather.
I’m not sure what to do. I was really looking forward to camping, but this weather has been appalling (rain every day for the last 2 months, flooding, etc). Could the weathermen be wrong for next week? I like a quiet holiday, and this holiday park wont be quiet. But it will be good for the kids…
What to do? We can’t go abroad, by the way.
