kaitlynforan asked: I’m a Canadian resident and I made a mistake and was charged with driving under the influence, but i still havn’t been convicted in court. I was planning on going to the UK within the next year and a 1/2, will i still be eligable for a working holiday visa? do i need to apply for a pardon? How long will i have to wait until i am eligable?
but will they even let me in or give me a visa?

Sarahmce asked: I am due to go on maternity leave in November 07. My employer’s holiday year runs from January to December.
I qualify for SMP – 90% pay for the first 6 weeks & £112 per week for the remaining 33 weeks.
What I’d like to know is when I’m on maternity leave will I get paid holiday pay at the same rate as when I was working or will my ‘holidays’ also be paid at £112 per week?
I’m due to discuss maternity stuff with my employer next week but I’d like to be clear about this in my own head first! Thanks for any help you can give

Boola asked: I was wondering if anyone had applied for the Canadian working holiday programme through Bunac and needed to leave the country whilst it was being processed. It states that the applicant needs to reside in the UK while the Canadian government process the application which can be up to 6 weeks. I urgently need to leave the country will it jeopardise my application. They do not have my passport, only photocopies. Thank you so much in advance

Me and my boyfriend (both 17) want to go away for a few nights in late october on a trip but we’re not sure where to go?? Maybe near the south coast or the lakes or wales!!??
Where is there lots to do and places to stay with good rates?
If anyone knows of a decent place to stay ie, a nice B&B they might of stayed at that would be much appreciated
